geneating a background job error?

Hi...I would like to know how to generate a background job error so that i can vertify it and rectify it manually?

step by step plsss

Hi,

The error information regarding Background jobs will be found in t-code sm37.

Execute sm37 -> give job name

-> job created by and other required information.

You will get the job list.

Select the job and click on joblog from application toolbar.

you will get the reason for the failure.

The job log also will be stored in global directory at o/s level.

Hi Ashok,

Thanks for taking the time to bring back some of the ancient unanswered questions.

However, please take note that the author of the thread has all his / her questions unanswered and has not logged onto this site for 1 year now (visible in the Business Card)... so is no doubt not interested anymore... if they ever were at all.

Perhaps deleting the question would be more appropriate, and at some point this will most likely be done to these old questions.
