Dear colleagues:
I would like to know what settings you may be using on your projects for C5 transaction in APO
Flow control
1) Max no of Hits
2) Block size

Pavan K Vankadaru
The flow control is determined based on the amount of orders that are generated and need to be sent to R3. You need to make an intelligent guess
Maimum Number of Hits::
Maximum Number of Selected Entries when you access the database, the number of lines specified here is the maximum to be read. This can significantly reduce the system response time if the selection is not specific enough, or contains errors. The database access is unsorted; however, the data is displayed sorted in the list. If the object for which you are searching is not part of the result selection, and the list contains the exact number of entries that you specified, you should increase the maximum number of hits.
You can vary this from 1,000,000 to 1,000
For example when you use the delete all change pointers option, you would want the maximum number of hits to be a MAX Value- 1,000,000
When you just use it to send change pointers between some set of locations and you know that there will be less than 1000 change pointers, use 1000
If in your company you have a wide open C5-Send Change pointers for all locations and you know that the change pointers will not exceed 10,000, set the value to 10,000
Block Size: You can leave this to the default value of 1000
Hope this helps, - Again this value needs to be intelligently guessed based on the number of change pointers used in each Variant.
Good Luck
Regards
