Does anybody know how to set the default value for the "QUICK HELP" to ON. We tried the URL parameter "sap-explanation=X" with support package 10, but nothing happened.
Is there any possibility to customize the parameter ?
We're using the explanation UI-Element to display some information for users. The UI-Elements should be displayed every time the user opens the application. The problem is that the explanation UI-Elements are only displayed when the quick help attribute is switched to true. We tried to append the &sap-explanation attribute as you said, but the quick help attribute is still "off".
Just to be sure: build your URL appending the &sap-explanation=X then you can close the browser. Reopen, call your URL (with the parameter) and it should work.
Maybe your are appending the param when the session is still active ?!?
