Dear experts,
I would like to use XI as a buffer for my message pretty much the same way MQSeries does.
Thi means I would like to send a message to XI from a client A.
Another client B should then be able to (actively) retrieve a message from XI (He calls XI and XI gives back all the buffered messages).
I thought about a BP and a correlation.
I could imagine to ´the queues of the adapter framework, though.
I did not really elaborate the 2nd idea.
What is your opinion? How would you do that?
BTW: The protocol B uses to access the buffered messages from XI is not important. WebServices would be nice but its not a must. Another idea wold be to write a JMS implementation for using XI as a JMS provider.
Thanks in advance,
Helge
Hi Helge,
You can do it by implementing a Business process.
XI uses queues internally for transporting data between source and target systems ( fails to send data to receiver then it places in queues)
I feel there is an alternative for implementing queue functionality -You can use any of the JMS providers ( IBM MQ, Sonic MQ..) using JMS senders and JMS receivers to do this ...
It seems these options are better to implement . Please eloborate your specific requirement to provide better options.
Regards,
Nanda
