Valid to date in an equipment

Hi guys,

I'm using the transaction IE01 to create an Equipment: I enter the fields 'Equipment code', 'Valid on', 'Equipment category' and I click enter but I see that the system put automatically in the field 'Valid to' the date '31.12.9999' and this field is not editable..But can I modify this field?Must I use the customizing?

Hi,

Filed ‘Valid To’ is system defined and you can not modify the same. Please use ‘Start up’ date or any other filed for the business requirement.
