issue regarding batch in delivery

in return order it is correct that the item category should not be relevant for picking so it means that when we are going to deliver it we are not going to do "picking"

Question: if the delivery is not relevant for picking, is it wrong if the batch is not automatically determined and we still need to put it before issuing the goods? because they want it to be automatically determined also if the item category is not relevant for picking...

please advise...

is it ok for return order to make it as automatic batch determination? what if the batch is going to be changed because the return is due to deffect? it can not use the original batch because it cannot be returned to the original batch...

Can you be some what clear,If a batch of stocks gets damaged we get return the same batch of stocks
