RVA001 is the standard pricing procedure which takes care of normal sales pricing. We can make our own pricing procedure by copying from this and doing the changes. In IDES system SAP uses this pricing procedure.

Now in INDIA, we have a complicated tax mechanism for which you have to consider various options of pricing procedure.

For tax calculations, we assign a tax calculation procedure for the every country in FI module, like TAXUSA etc.

To consider the complicated excise taxation, SAP has offered two tax calculation procedures for country India. These procedures are TAXINJ and TAXINN.

TAXINJ is a formula based and TAXINN is comparatively which is condition based.

This procedures are required for posting our tax values to FI accounting.

For our SD pricing, we need to maintain separate pricing procedures to calculate the tax rates in our sales orders and billing documents.

hence here we use different tax procedures, based on the tax procedures used in FI and the business processes that are being used.

with TAXINJ WITH TAXINN

(formula based) (condition based)

factory sales JFACT JINFAC

depot sales JDEPO JINDEP

exports JEXPO JINEXPO

Hope you will find this information useful.

RVAA01 :Pricing procedure Standard version.

For Indian Scenario,

2.JFACT - Pricing procedure . no need to use RVAA01 etc. directly use it for factory sale.

If depot sale , then use JDEPOT instead of JFACT.

remember JFACT and JDEPOT are formula based.

3.TAXINJ - TAX Procedure. maintained using T.Code OBYZ.

Formula based tax calculations.

rvaa01 is for regular pricing procedure that is going to hit inthe sales order

Country Version India comes with four pricing procedures as follows:

1 JINFAC (Sales from manufacturing plants)

2 JINEXP (Export sales)

3 JINDEP (Sales from depots)

4 JINSTK (Stock transfers)

These pricing procedures determine the net price (or the assessable value, if there is one) and then calculate all forms of excise duties and sales taxes on the goods.

where TAX INJ is the formua based pricing procedure for tax calculation. where it is being assigned to the country IN

CORRECT ME IF IAM WRONG

REWARD IF ITS HELP FUL

HI.,

RVAA01- is the standard pricing procedure where we can copy ,

TAXINJ - It is the pricing procedure for taxation

JFACT- It is not the standard pricing procedure as i far as i know,it may be the customized pricing procedure,We craete different pricing procedures to accomodate our requirement,so we may use some condition types only in some pricing procedures ,so we use different pricing procedures,Generally when we sell from a factory the taxes & discounts & prices may vary when compared to the normal pricing procedure

REWARD if helpfull

Thanks & Regards
