Is SAP certified on AMD 64 with windows 2003

Dear SDN,

I am having a difficult time installing WAS on an AMD 64 bit opteron system. I am running windows x86 64 bit enterprise. Also if I use a Virtual machine will this help.

Hi,

You may want to check this post:

WAS NW2004 and NW2004s should work in your X64 based platform. Please check you are using the correct SAPinst or not.

AMD64 - Windows 2003 is very much working combination in many sites.

I looked at the PAM and I cant find any hardware requirements, It lists all the OSs?
