Hello Gurus,
Can, i install SAP Patches when other users are online?? Or the system should be in single user mode??
Thanks & Regards
Rahul
Hello Rahul,
It is highly advisable that no one other administrators should be logged in while you are applying the patches. Lock all users and ask any logged in users to log out. It is critical.

Hi Rahul,
If you are concerning the available time of the productive system, you can think about the option 'downtime-minimized', it will reduce some downtime.

Hello Rahul,
Just a minor correction. I had mentioned "It is highly advisable that no one other administrators should be logged in while you are applying the patches."
Please read it as "It is highly advisable that no one other than administrators should be logged in while you are applying the patches." Also there should be close understanding and coordination between the adminsitrators at this time.
Regards.
Ruchit.
