Download to microsoft Excel & print from portal for VC report

Hello,

I have a generated a report using VC.

1] I want to provide a facility of saving it to local hard disk in microsoft excel format.

2]As well as would like to provide print functionality from portal itself.

Does any have idea about it ?

Both printing and download to Excel are not available in the current versions of VC. Nonetheless we are planning to include at least with the VC04s release printing functionality for the BI-related things, as with this BI release there is some good formatted printing functionality.

About Excel download I don't know.

Sorry,

don't know VC (German:?). But with almost every List display using ALV (most newer SAP Lists do) just enter the Code &XXL in the command field on top-left corner of GUI. Table contents are transfered to Excel.

we have the Same Request: Is there a Data-Download and/or a print function available (or planned in the next version)?

Yes,

Both printing and exporting of data commands will be available (at least for some runtime environments) in the upcoming release.
