Hi,
SAP has provided in Standard Scripts and Smartforms maximum features to utilize. But sometimes customer may not satisfy with that then we have to customize the standard forms.
steps to customize.
1. Copy the standard form into zXXXX form.
2. Then you can do changes whatever you want.
Scenarios for Eg:
1. Take a Purchase Order in that Net Amount is there after all calculations and deductions discounts etc.... after finish all the amount will display.
this amount should display also in words
it is not there in standard script then you have to write the logic to print in words
2. Logo in we have to include customers logo some customers will ask remove logo.
3. In Ship to address / Ship to party address in standard will display they may say edit, why becuase he may not required all fields and he may require extra fields
4. In some items will shows KGs some items will shows Peices. But client will ask both will display or single should display we have to do some customization.
5. Client may ask field positions to change Eg: Gross amounts inner column, Net Amount outer column.
etc...... like that so many reasons.
If any doubts reply.
Regards
Ganesh

SAP has all standard layout and which is not suitable for customer requirement, then we need to copy sap standard layout into custom layout.
we need to modify which includes alignment, adding company logo, printing diffrent address.
Reward Points if it is helpful
