Hi,

Can anyone guide me through steps to increase table space for MaxDB? Is it possible to increase table space for all the existing tables and just any particular one.

Thank you,

sam

Hello Sam

In addition to Roland's answer:

The data inside of a MaxDB are organized in data volumes. Of course, you can add data volumes to an existing database and remove from it.

Hello Sam,

the easiest way is to install DBMGUI on a Windows machine and to connect to your database instance.

Then choose menu Configuration -> Volumes

Afterwards double click the next empty volume entry and enter the volume path and size.

This info is also available in our Wiki:

Hi there,

as MaxDB doesn't have any tablespaces, so there is no need to administer tablespaces either.

For more information, I'd suggest you take a look at our Wiki on MaxDB:
