Hello
I am aware of infocubes in BW, but are they also created in APO?
Hi,
Yes, SAP BW is embedded in SAP APO. You can access transaction RSA1 (Administrator Workbench) from SAP APO.
Example Info Cubes:
Resource and Operation Data Analysis
The analysis is carried out in the Resource/Operation Data query created on the InfoCube APO Resource and Operation Data (technical name: 0APO_C01).
The Resource and Operation Data InfoCube is provided with the following standard queries for analysis:
Resource: Capacity/Requirements of a Planning Version
Resource: Req. Setup/Processing of Several Planning Versions
Resource: Required Set Up/Processing of a Planning Version
Refer to 3.2.3 section (Infocubes) in the following link:
Also, visit the following thread:
Hope this will help.
Regards,
Naveen.

hi,
APO is purely for planning of the data once is loaded and stored into the cubes of BW, and we are not creating any cubes in APO,

APO has BW embedded in it. It is exactly same BW but it's not a reporting capable system. You store your history in APO-BW and use this data for APO planning and then send it back and save it in APO-BW cubes.
