Is the only place to edit or configure these in the Visual Admin.

Could someone tell me if it is possible to change these parameters anywhere else... i.e. The Configtool etc...

hi Alex,

you can do it from NWA for sure

(just check it)

xiserver:port/nwa

- Deploy and Change link

- template 02 (with JCO in name)

OK the problem is that our Java Stack is not starting so obviously I can't start the Visual Admin either. I need to be able to change it offline somewhere like the config tool... can this be done and if so where?

Check your log files in /usr/sap/<sid>/<instance>/work directory. Look at dev_jcontrol log file specifically.
