Hi All,

I tried creating external library for the Microsoft Office Jar File using the weblog

<a href="/people/valery.silaev/blog/2005/09/14/a-bit-of-impractical-scripting-for-web-dynpro bit of impractical scripting</a>

But when I am trying to use it in my DC, I am getting an Error No Class Def Found.

I also tried to look for the Jar files in Visual Admin. I can see the library Name but it does not contains any Jar Files.

We are using EP 7.0 SP10.

Thanks in Advance,

Anish

When you are creating the External Library, before deploying it can you check if the jar file is present in archive.

Hi Ashwini,

I have checked, Jar files are present in the SDA. But after deploying, I cannot see it in the Visual Admin.

Hi,

If u add the used dc of the external library jars in the j2ee library dc and deploy to the server, definitely that will get reflect to the server.

Check it in server --> libraries.. in visual admin

Hi,

Follow the steps in this blog to create External Library.

What I feel is their is something you are missing.

Hi Shriram,

I am using the same blog for creating the external lib.

While adding the Jar into the public part, I ve created 2 public parts.

1. API

& Other is SDA.

And added both in my J2EE Component.

Please validate is it correct.

Anish
