how to trasnport users from one client to another client??

Hello gurus,

I want to transport users (only users) one client to another, this should not affect the system data or configuration in any ways of the destination clients.

Gurus. please guide me how can i do that???

Hello gurus,

When i use SCC8, and executing the transport,i am getting message "Target system 100 is unkwon in the current transport configuration".

Please let me know how to add this system to the current transport configuration.

Hello Rahul,

Please go to STMS and then from menu bar choose EXTRASSettingsTransport route. Choose Graphical editor option.

Then from menu bar choose OVerview--Transport routes.

Now add client 100 for the appropriate transport group.

Hi

Login to the client in your DEV system from where you want to copy.

2. Execute scc8. Select the profile sap_user.

Specify the target system.

Click on 'schedule as background job'.

3. Specify the background server name i.e. the server name where your DEV system is available.

4. Click on 'schedule job' button.

Verify the things and click on 'continue' button.

5. You will have options to specify the start time.

Specify to suit your convenience.

You can see the log in scc3.

6. Login to the destination client and execute scc6.

Specify the request number which was created during scc8.

You need to specify only one request number. Other(s) will be taken automatically.

Click on 'Prepare import'.

7. Specify the target client and click on 'Import'.

Log can be checked in scc3.

SCC3 - is used to check the logs

SCC8 - to create the transport.

The only way to transport users is to create a User Master Transport (Profile SAP_USER) in SCC8
