Changing of IDoc Structure

Hi experts,

I Faced the questions in interviews

How u can modify the IDoc Structure and how you can add a one extra segment to the all ready existing IDoc?

Where u can monitor the IDoc structure? Where u can findout whether IDoc containing the data or not at runtime?

Hi Anjaneya Swami,

U can modify the IDoc Structure by adding segments.

T-codes used for Custome Idoc Creation.

WE31- To create segments

WE30- To create Idoc(add segments to IDOC)

WE81- To create message type

WE82- To assign message type to Idoc type.

and u can see the IDOC Structure, data in WE05 t-code.

When IDOC will enter XI pipeline you will see it in SXI_MONITOR and IDX5

SM58 in the XI system and SM58, We02 in the R/3 system also helps in idoc monitoring.
