hi gurus,

what is work of s.l.d and use of s.l.d?

Hi Rohit

SLD is used to provides information about all the installed systems in given landscape. This information includes the products & software components in that. Also the Technical Data ( like IP, Host Name etc )& Business Data about the systems.

Technical Systems can have diffrent types like Web As ABAP, Third Party etc.

Now this information is used by Integration Server to get the System-Specific Data from SLD.
