PORTAL ADD IN INSTALLATION ERROR

Hi

I have visual studio 2005 installed in my system with .net framework version 2.0.5.When Iam trying to instal portal add in 2.5 for the above version ,Iam getting an error "ASP.NET WEB APPLICATION SHOULD BE INSATALLED".

I was able to install portal runtime for the same system.

Already Iam able to run asp.net web application in my system.

Hi Debasish,

have you installed the WebApplicationProjectSetup file which you can download from msdn.microsoft.com? After a successful installation of the WebApplicationProjectSetup try to install the PDK 2.5, then it should work. You will also find a few other threads regarding this problem in the forum.
