can one please tell me the difference between Ides and standard version with respect
licence and developer access key
Hi
In simple terms IDES is an SAP system with lots of data. This is like a demo system given to the client to get accustomed to the SAP software. This will have the required data.So a client can actually visualise its use according to his requirement.Though this is not permanent.
Standared Installation requires a fresh setup where you have to put ur own data's.Licence has to be procured from SAP for such installation.

IDES (Internet Demonstration and Evaluation System) is generally given to companies who have bought SAP license, to train their resources. So with respect to licence, u cannot get IDES as individual system.
IDES is an internal demo system utilized by SAP and shouldnt be used for commercial purposes
