item proposal problem

hi

iam facing a problem that is when i creating item proposal then the error is occured " material is not created in sales org 1000 sales dis 10 " can any one solve my problem plz

In MM01 maintain material for the customer's sales area

1000/10 Sales org/Dist channel

Hi,

The material is available in different for Sales org/Distribution channel combination you are using for the customer .Customer's sales area is different and material master is different.If you want to sell a material to customer then that materail has to be maintained in that sales org/Dist channel combination.

inorder to execute the item praposal both materials shud exists in the same plant and same sales org...distchnnel

and do maintain itemproposal number in the customer master.

Hi

Pls check there steps for consistency

Check whether the Customer and Material are in same sales area.

Check whether u have assigned Proposal doc. to customer .

Check whether the sales document u r processing , Has same Sales area i.e. Customer ,Material and Sales document should have same sales area.

hi,

kindly maintain the required material in the item proposal and also see it assigned to the required sales area in MM01.

Also assign the item proposal number to the customer in VD01.

Hi Phani.,

This may be because the material is not created in Sales org 1000 & Distribution channel 10,You can extend the material to your sales organization & Distribution chennel
