Activation problem

Hi SDN,

I have created a comm channel in configuration and i deleted that one and activate in change list...

when i am trying to create the comm channel with the same name its showing object is being edited by so and so user...

i checkd in objects tab in the configuration there is no communication channel with the same name///

then y i am getting this error/////

Please throw some light on the same..

Masoor,

Go to the Objects Tab , the Business System under which you are trying to create the Com Channel and check if there exists a CommChannel with the same name?

HI Ali,

It was lock. To unlock go thru the steps given below

1.Go to XI home page

2. Go to Administration

3. Lock Details and remove the lock on your CC

Navigate to this path

XI home page (where u open IR/ID) --> Administration --> Locks overview.

If there are any locks select them and delete them.

Hi;

Go to XI home page --- Administration(Top Right) --- Lock Details(Left panel) and remove the lock on your communication channel.

I already checked , there are no locks !......

Hi;

If its showink locked by some other user other than you then

go to change list

search for the user whose id is getting reflected

change list open

display

if you find that communication channel there than assign his change list to yours and activate the same.
