under
> /usr/sap/trans/log
you will find several logs...
> ALOGxxYY.SID - with xx = year (07) and YY = week, SID = system id
> ULOGxx_Y - with xx = year, Y = consecutive number
> SLOGxxYY.SID - with xx = year (07) and YY = week, SID = system id
have a look under help.sap.com...there you will find the information needed...such as:
<i>You can monitor the transport actions carried out in an SAP System using the log hierarchy, which has three levels.
Level 1 File SLOG
This file gives an overall view of all imports running in the SAP System.
Level 2 File ALOG
This file contains individual return codes for all the transport steps performed in the transport directory.
A short status report is also entered for each export or import carried out in the transport directory.
Level 3 Logs of the individual transport steps

U need to know the purpose of SLOG, ULOG etc or those logs are missing in your system?
