PIcking the Data from BW based on INdexes

Hi

I successfully configured the BW Server and XI Server.

In BW there is a table with some indexes. Now I want to pick the Data from the table based on indexes. For example in BW they created the tables, now I want to pick the data of a particular plant using the index

What is index? How can I achieve this?
