Any One Can Explain Depo Sales in the Sd.

Hi,

Depo Sales Means we first ship the finished goods to a separate location for storage(Depo).From where we sell them to customers.In depot sales we need not to pay the excise duty.

The Process is as under:

Sales Order --> Delivery (incluing PGI) --> Billing

Select the required basic configuration / scenario. These will consist of overview, configuration guide, business process, master data &so on ...........

depot sales can be generated from depot(plants) .

if the business process is more we can segreates in to depots

for normal prosess factory sales.va01,delivery,pgi,billing.

in depot sales :purshase order me27n,delivery ,billing,migo

ther are 3 types of sales ..1. factory sales, 2 plant sales..3. depo sales...

depo is where you keep all finished stocks and sell to customer....

Hi Kalasapati.,

Depo sales means,For example a company may have plants at mumbai & delhi & have the sales offices Or depos all over the in india in all the states.soto sell the goods the stock is mom=ved from mumbai & delhi plants to all over the depos,Depos are nothing but area from where the major distribution takes place,like a company have depos & in SAP we map them as plants and do stock transport order from different plants, Sale may happen from mumbai & Delhi plants directly to some organizations,like wise we do sales also fromo depos,So we may require to have different sales orders & Different pricing procedures from main plants & Depos
