R/3 to BI data transfer

Hi All

I want to push data from R/3 system to BI ... what are the appropriate steps for this ....

Can any one guide me in a step by step process.

Hi shivanjali,

To extract data from R/3 to SAP BI you should decide first which type of extraction you want to perform from r/3 to sap bi.

1.activte the respective data sources in the r/3 system first.

2. replicate the data sources in the sap bi system in the RSA1 .

3.create the infosource like the replicated data source in the sap bi system.

4.then create the infocube and update the infocube. using transformation and

update rules.
