The AE actually does not allow to explicitly delete

messages and this is actually not necessary for "normal"

usecases.

Hi Alex,

you can do two things, delete or archive.

If it is a productive system I would suggest to archive, specially, in certain countries and under certain regulations, it is asked to have successful messages archived. If it is a test system, then delete them. The pre-requisites you need for both options are a bit different.

Anyhow, I would suggest that you have a look at note 872388 which will give you all the details you need. If the table is already very full, you may run into troubles, because a job might get stuck - in this case, the note, anyway - should help you to overcome it.

Additionally have a look at the troubleshooting guide, chapter archiving and deletion. -->the path to find the guide is described in note 806546

For the future, take into account the admin checks described in note 884865 (already side-tracking a bit, but I think it will be useful for you)

Luck with XI

Kind regards,

Jaime

Hi

Goto tcode SXMB_ADMIN

In "Integration Engine" --> select "Administration" --> select "Schedule Delete Job"

In the next window. Just select the desired option to schedule the jobs.

Thanks
