installation error

Hi,

I am trying to install sap webAS 6.40 ABAP unicode on MS Windows 2000 proffessional and I am getting the error below.I have installed Oracle 10 g and giving the database sid also but still I am getting this error below

ERROR 2007-05-26 18:59:52

MDB-06168 Oracle is not installed on this host. Install Oracle before continuing.

Please help me find a solution.

check if all the servises related to oracle are running.

otherwise there must be some problem with oracle installation. check the java version. hisgher versions of java are not supported..
