Connection Error with Interactive Form

Former Member

Hello,

I am getting the error below when try to test an application on an Adobe Document Service server. Its a web dynpro application with an Interactive Form attached that updates an SAP CRM system.

I think it might have to do with the Jco connections, any help would be appreciated and rewarded with points. I did set up both Jco connector and the test ok in the content administrator.

Here is what I get when I run the app from the content adminstrator logged in as administrator:

When testing adobe document service

Hi,

Please check the installation of ADS.

1. Enter the following URL in your web browser:

http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config

where <server> is the name of the J2EE engine where the Adobe document services are installed and <port> is the port of the J2EE engine.

Note that the entries in the URL are case-sensitive.

2. The web page of the web service AdobeDocumentServices is displayed. Choose Test.

3. Choose rpdata(test.…) .

4. Choose the Send button without entering any parameters.

5. Enter the user name and password as given in the configuration steps(as in configuration guide- User:ADSUser) .

6. Choose Submit.

If the configuration is correct, you get the information about the Version number in the response area.

Please confirm the ADS version and WAS information

Check this link also

?

Thanks,

Lohi.

hi

if u still get the same error check your ADS configuration. Also be sure your client system has ACF running.

If it still persists replace the alias name of your server with the machine id along with port number in the url of the application and refresh it. hope this solves your problem.

Hi,

There can be many reasons for this so please check first if its a JCO u have to go to the server - content admin page and check for u JCO connections, If u can ping the server, its fine.

Then check if u have checked the Form design service while instaling and did not install ADS.. this may be the case..

And if u dont have autherisation to Webservices u'll get that COnnection refused exception......

Please try all this and let me know the status .

Thanks & Regards,

Sirisha.
