How to continue DBinstallation after Oracle Sw....R3 4.7 SR1 Solaris, Oracl

Hi,

I got a typical problem. While installing Database it asked for Oracle software installation in a new window and after that continue database installation. Now the problem is I closed that Database Window and already installed Oracle sw and its patches. How to continue now. . . .If go with fresh Database installation it is not asking the options 'new installation' or 'contue old installation' ....

Please help...

Hi,

For 4.7EE Installation you have to start the installation using SETUP.CMD then you will get an option at START --> Program files --> SAPINST .

There you can continue your old installation.

Hi Jalli,

I assume your temporal installation directory is deleted...

The only thing you must do is make a "new installation" <b>giving the same information you put the first time</b>, and when asked to "install oracle software", just continue with the Sapinst process.
