SAP WEBAS 6.40 unicode installation error

Hi,

I am trying to install sap webAS 6.40 ABAP unicode and I am getting the error below.I have installed Oracle 10 g and giving the database sid also but still I am getting this error below

<b>ERROR 2007-05-26 18:59:52

MDB-06168 Oracle is not installed on this host. Install Oracle before continuing.</b>

Please help me find a solution.

Hi, which operative system are u using?

Please read the following note:

407314 Released operating systems SAP R/3 kernel 6.x ORACLE

If you are using windows, then check notes 786673 and 949116

Anyhow, there is another possibility for the root cause.

Try using the newest version--->go to the service marketplace -->

http://service.sap.com/swdc

-> SAP Installations & Upgrades

-> Entry by Application Group

-> SAP NetWeaver

-> SAP NETWEAVER

-> AP NETWEAVER 04

-> Installation and Upgrade

-> Windows Server

-> ORACLE

and download the following:

51032143 Installation Master 6.20/6.40 Windows Server

51031678 ORACLE RDBMS 10.2 Windows

51031725 Oracle 10.2.0.2.0 Patch for Windows

You will have more information about this in note 949116
