Preconfigured Smartform for SD in All-in-One

Please provide your feedbacks if your company has used any pre-configured Smartform in SD especially if you used it in All-In-One.

Are these pre-configured Smartforms for SD provides bare bone format ?

If we have our ABAP resources who have experienced with Smartform, shall we even considered using pre-configured Smartform ? Will pre-configured Smartform work in ECC6 ? If so, which version ?
