forgot J2EE_ADMIN password

we forgot the J2EE_ADMIN password, can anybody suggest us how to create a new one please?

It is usually the master password for the installation (the same for PISUPER for example).

Anyway, if you have a user with SU01 authorization, you can add the role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN to any user and that user will be able to access VA and do other stuff that J2EE_ADMIN can.

I did go to the transaction SU01 and add the profile SAP_J2EE_ADMIN.When I tried to logon to the VA I got the following problem.

'End of stream reached unexpectedly during input from socket...'

Any help please.

Activating the Emergency user can solve your issue. Check this threads for similar issue:

Hi Santosh,

I followed the steps mentioned in the urls and restarted the system. It's 3 hours since I restarted, except strdbs.cmd nothing started from the processlist.

Any help please, I think I am in the crisis zone, need to get the system up before Monday.
