How much abap u need to know ...for XI!!!

Hey folks,

I just need some good suggesions.Can any tell me how much abap is required in XI.I min to say wat r the things in ABAP , that r mostly used in XI?.And also if possible give me some useful documents in abap!!!

Hi Biplab,

In XI, ABAP is required mainly at ABAP mapping part. Apart from this you shud have knowledge of R/3 architecture that how an SAP systems works. Knowledge of RFC, BAPI, IDOC is required. You shud also have knowledge of ABAP Engine and stacks of it.

Hi all...thanx for that...

but my question was....wat r the main things that r mostly used in XI....

for example....u have to create some function modules...

so function modules are oftenly used in XI.Similarly i want to know wat r other terminolgies in ABAP...that r frequently needed in XI
