CCM Shopping from Catalogue

Dear All,

We are able to upload products in master catalogue, and then we have mapped the content to the master and procurement catalogue and published both them.

Once we try to go shopping, the following messages appears,

-for the procurement catalogue:

Bad Gateway

The following error occurred:

[code=DNS_HOST_NOT_FOUND] The host name was not found during the DNS lookup. Contact your system administrator if the problem is not found by retrying the URL

-for the master catalogue

Appears again the screen where you select the catalogue from where you want to shop.

I think I have done the appropriate setting in SRM-server and I have also defined the External web services, but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or what I’m missing to do.

We are using SRM 5.0 and CCM 2.0

Try using the IP in the URL (I seem to remember seeing a note re this problem).

Also could you confirm. The URL for the catalog can this be called independantly from the SRM application.

URL should be along like the below....

http://sapdev.mycompany:8000/sap/bc/bsp/ccm/srm_cse/main.do

The web page should display the wording

"Your session has timed out - call up SAP Catalog Search Engine again in SRM "
