Hi all,

I am facing error while importing Idoc from a SAP Retail R/3.

the error is :

<i>

>>>Is the target system online?

>>>Check the connection data (note that server names and groups are case-sensitive)

>>>Tips for administrators (see the configuration guide for more details):

>>>Does the user have the required authorizations in the target system?

>>>Is the target system configured correctly in "etc/services"</i>

I would also like to clear that,

1 the system is online

2 Connection data is correct

3 etc/services an entry already exists in XI server as well as retail system

Regards,

Ramesh P

Ramesh,

Make sure you are connecting to the correct system. Make sure user id, client and password are correct. Also if you are trying to import the zidoc then make sure to activate it before you import.

hi shabarish,

I have checked the authorizations you had told me to, here all the authorizations objects are provided with * values. Still the same problem persists.

I have checked all the points listed by bhavesh also.

Make sure you have at least the following SP in your R/3:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/2b/a48f3c685bc358e10000000a11405a/frameset.htm

Also, check the following notes:

677732 (authorizations),

672745 (missing function modules),

212011 (access to IDoc metadata), and

718320

Henrique.

Hi,

1. In the SWCV, double click and check if you have select option Import of RFC and idoc Allowed.

2. Make sure that the servere detals point to your R3 system

3. Make sure that the User id and password you provide when you try to import the Idoc has the required Authorizations.

<i> Make sure that the servere detals point to your R3 system</i>

>>>

when you try to import the IDoc it asks for the server details and system number. Make sure you give the correct data for R3 !!!
