Hi Experts,

Here We have Completed PI 7.0 Installation.

We Imported XI3_0_SAP_BASIS_6.40_12_00.tpz in to IR Instead of XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_06_00.tpz.

Q1) How to Remove the Old BASIS .TPZ File ??????????

Q2) From Where we Can Remove it ?????

Q3) With Out Remove that Old File, Can we Import the New BASIS .TPZ File, Is It Corret ????

Q4) Existing these Two BASIS .TPZ Files in IR Is there Any Problem ???

Please Help Me

Regards

Khanna

Hello,

No need to restart the server, just the instance or java client for XI- Design time is sufficient.

Hi Rajesh,

Though it displays the BASIS component after deleting the 6.0 tpz, u dont find anzthing related to the 6.4 Version under it in the ID. after importing the 7.0 to the import directorz mentioned, u will get another BASIS component created under which u find everzthing which is of version 7.0.

Hi Rajesh,

You can delete that also from IR GUI also.

First select the content, then a window appears in the right side.

On that there is menu on top Software Component Version

Click it and you get an option to delete (cltr + D)

Ramesh P

yes you can import new tpz file without deleteing old..it is correct

for example if in your landscape will be 6.40 and 7.0 systems you may use 6.40 basis content for 6.40 system and 7.0 content for 7.0 system
