GUI Automation

I am trying to automate GUI for downloading a report.

I am using the SapAutoGui.Event via VBScript.

I am able to successfully login to the client and run a report. However it does not download anything to the client PC.

How do i use GUI Automation in order to download a file to the client PC.

I had been able to use SapAutoGui earlier but after GUI 6.2 onwards it does not work. What GUI version are you using? and Do you or anybody know how it works for recent release?

I do have the same problem with GUI 6.2. Here I am talking to SAP from EXCEL, but I am not able to creat object because of SAPAUTOGUI. Can any one please suggest me the solution in detail. What to do and how to do in order to make it work.

I am also trying to automate GUI via VBScript..but you without success. Can you post the VBScript code. I will like to check my code against yours. Thanks in advance.

Hi Girishkumar,

Does this have something to do with Web Dynpro??? I have not heard of GUI Automation yet. Could you please give some more information?
