Can somebody please tell me
What is considered a Wild Card from VC to BI 7.0 Query
*, #, '' , " ", %20 does not work
Thanks,
Naseer
No wildcard for BI systems, as far as I remember. You need to work with BI variables.

Hello,
Select-Options only allows the below operations:
:[Value(End - optional)]:Operator:I (Includes) or E (Excludes)
Available Operators:
· EQ u2013 Equal to
· GE u2013 Greater than or equal to
· GT u2013 Greater than
· LE u2013 Less than or equal to
· LT u2013 Less than
· BT u2013 Between
There is no any 'CP' operators where I can include the wildcare.
Is there any way I can use wildcard?
Thanks.
Tomokatsu.
I think Naseer and Shilpa have a non SAP BW background (may be Java) like me.
Look for FILTER web api commands. When running through VC, a BI query can be fired up by filtering using FILTER web api command. There are numerous Web API commands which generally fall into the WHERE clause of a sql command.
go to help.sap.com and search for WEB API.

Kiran
Hello, Naseer.
After dragging the BI Query on to "Tabbed Workspace", right click on the query and you can test the query
to run the query wide open your query should not have any mandatory fileds in the selection screen.
your query should connected to a event ( That will Trigger the query with wide open ) and should have a output either graph or sheet ...etc
Hope this helps
