Username for Alert Configuration

Hi,

In the runtime workbench, when i click on Alert Configuration or Alert Inbox it asks me for username and password. (Enter username and password for "SAP Web Application Server [SID]" at http://servername:8000)

I tried out all the user ids with required authorizations but couldn't log in through it.

The pop up keeps on asking for username and password.

Previously i got the error "404 Not Found SAP J2EE Engine" when calling the alert configuration. Then i performed steps as per SAP Note 750287 and changed the <i>com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport</i> to <i>8000</i> and <i>com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost</i> to <i><servername>.<domain>.com</i> as given in SMICM trx.

But after doing these changes i got the error while accessing Alert Configuration:

<i>The requested URL could not be retrieved.

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://<server>.<domain>.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/alertinbox/index.htm?</i>;

I then reverted the parameter <i>com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost</i> to <i><servername></i> only and again it starting asking me for username and password for Alert Configuration.

Also, in sicf trx when i run the test service for sxms_alertrules it calls the URL <i>http://<servername>.<domain>.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/sxms_alertrules?sap-client=710</i>

Someone plz help me on this as its urgently required.

Added *<domain>.com entry in do not use proxy server under proxy settings of Internet Options.

This solved my problem.

Can you check OSS Notes: 913858, 932085, 824039.

Also try using the userid PIISUPER.

You can enter userid with SAP_ALL & XISUPER Equivalent authorization.

I tried that but it didn't work.
