Hi venugopal,

1. In IDOC to FILE Scenario, we assign constant value 1 for both BEGIN and

SEGMENT because these Fields are Mandatory, they are not optional, if they

are optional may be we would have assigned an empty constant.

2. We Disable the Segment for example in CREMAS03, we disable

EDI_DC40,though this segment is mandatory but this value will be filled out

Automatically by the IDOC Adapter.

Thanks & Regards,

Varun Reddy Kasireddy.

Hi

there is no standard way to do xslt mapping for the specified scenario

It depends on the requirement and the compexity of the transformation involved.

U can go thrugh these links to have an idea of how to go about with XSLT mapping

Hi,

Go through this link :

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/xi/sapR3%28Idocs%29ToXI--Steps+Summarized&

it gives all required steps.

>>>><i>2)In idoc-file,when doing mapping we assign the constant value 1 for boths begin and segment..</i>

bcoz these <b>attributes</b> r defined as<b> required</b>.

so must assing some values to them

>>><i>what is the use of disabling the full segment </i>

so that u can go ahead without mapping that full segment....its something like that segment is absent in ur structure.

Thanks,

Maheshwari.
