Has anyone had trouble with File Adaptors stopping polling?

We have about 20 file adaptors polling at ten minute intervals using FTP. But about once a week one or two of them or just stopping polling, if I then go in and Stop/Start the channel via the comm. channel monitoring they start to work again.

The last message I see in the log is 'Polling Interval Started. 600 seconds' and then nothing unitl I stop/start. Can anyone point me to some useful logs on the J2EE server that might give some clues?

I have updated the Timeout settings on our FTP channels, some of them had no timeout setting and when I checked the logs around the time it happened I think there were a lot of FTP logon problems. I'll just have to wait and see if this solves the problem. Thanks for your quick response. This is my first SDN post and im impressed.
