Hello,
I want to delete a price condition record. I have read that I can mark a record for deleting or deleting it from the data base for ever. I want to do the last option. Anyone knows how can I do it?
Thank you,
Condition record can be deleted from the database. But it will give one dialog box when ur going to delete, this option will come when you------Goto condition type and select the option "with popup" in the field Del fr. DB"
So, like this u can delete the record permanently from the database. But if you want to trace anything this record will not be there for your reference. So, best practice is to option deletion flag in the condition type.

You have the following options:
SPACE: You can set an indicator so that the condition record is no longer used in pricing. The condition record is then archived in the archiving run.
A: You can delete the condition records from the database. You then receive a popup, asking whether the condition record should actually be deleted or whether the deletion indicator should simply be set.
B: You delete the condition records from the database. You only receive a popup if there are condition supplements available.
Goto T.code: VK12
Select the condition record and click on Delete icon.
then save.

Hi,
i would advise to go for Mark for deletion option in change mode of condition record. After this your new SO will not pick up this value.
Whereas if you delete it from database , it could cause inconsistency in your previous sales orders consisting that condn record.
However to my knowledge it can not be deleted. It can only be marked for deletion like customer master, material master, since it is a master data.
Hope this information helped you.
