Hi Sunil,
For FMEA (Failure modes and Effects Analysis), you can track your RPN in the checklist items.
Six sigma consits of following phases
D- Define
M - Measure
A - Analyze
D - Design
O - Optimize
V - Validate
Each of the above phases can be included in your project. If you are into any HTDM industry into NPDI process, they would have their own gates and the above mentioned phases can be integrated into cProjects.
All the review documents for approval can be uploaded into the documents section and the phases can be chosen for the approval.
I have written a white paper on the NPDI process for a HTDM industry involving cProjects.
Let me know in case you want more information and I would be happy to share with you.

Hi it should be very simple. First of all we need to understand the industry process. For example in companies like GE for NEW Product introduction they have phases like T1, T2 (technical) and P1, P2 (project). Underneath each phase they have checklists. For example, 1) HAS FMEA completed 2) Has fishbone been validated 4) Testing completed and validated 5) RPN number for a particular item
RPN is called Risk priority number and it is the product of occurence, severity and detection. Each and every industry will have a benchmark for RPN and you get your RPN from the FMEA analysis.
So you have to understand the industry for which you are implementing cProjects and get to know thier current methodology. I will try to send you a document that talks about a typical HTDM scenario and the various phases in that vertical.
let me know your email address and I would forward you that document.
thanks and good luck.
