Hi All,
I am sending Purchase order IDOC from R/3 to XI.
I have done all the configurations...
I have tested the IDOC manually by we19 (i checked the receiver partner number and everything)
when i have triggered th IDOC by standard outbound proceesing tab
I got this message..
IDOC sent to R/3 System or External System.
but IDOC is not displaying in XI (IDX5 or SXMB_MONI)
even i checked sm58 in Sender R/3.
Nothing was selected.....
even i checked in Sender R/3 again by using WE02 and gave the same IDOC number which was triggered by me. so that i can know the status..
there i got
a)green signal with status 03
total number 000012
under the status record--
there is no problem from R/3 side...but i couldn't see the IDOC in XI.
the samething happened to one of my colleague but he got his idoc in XI after one hour.
So i thought XI server may be slow ,so i have waited for 1,2,3,4,.....6 hours but no use...
Can anyone suggest me if i have missed any point or any transaction for debugging?
Appreciate your help.....
Thanks in Advance...
Regards,
Reehan
Hi;
Try deleating the IDoc from IDX2 and refiring the same.

what is this message is it a error?
No, IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS is the FM SAP uses to send and receive IDocs. So, it is quite alright to show up on SM58.
it means message stucks in sm58 queue so thats y its not reaching XI?
No
- Check your RFC destination definition (the one pointing to your XI server) to confirm that it is of type '3' (R/3 system) and not 'T' (TCP/IP).
- In your ID, in the Sender Business System --> Adapter Specific Identifiers, give the logical name for the business System pointing to the R3 system

Satish,
I am doing in development server as i do not have any transaction to run the IDOC
so i am testing manually....coming to ur point in EDI_DC40 i have given all correct values.
i did the same scenario for ORDERS it works..
but this scenrio is ORDCHG rest is same as above object .
but the moment idoc trigger from sap i am getting the error
IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS.
what is that error? how to rectify ?
any ideas?
Appreciate your help ...

Bhavesh,
I have two scenario's..
first scenario Sender IDOC is ORDERS.ORDERS05/extension(abc).
Second scenario Sender IDOC is ORDCHG.ORDERS05/extension(abc).
first scenario
I have done first scenario successfully.(interface is running succesfully)
for this..
I did checked in IDX2 and uploaded metadata for First scenario as follows...
IDOC TYPE : ORDERS05
EXTENSION : abc
of:
Source Port : SAP Sender Port
Second scenario
I have problem in sceond scenario.
for this i am getting error in sm58
Function Module Transaction
IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS we19
As you said goto IDX2 and delete the imported metadata and upload new metadat..
fot this i have a doubt..
for my scenario1 and scenario2 idoc type is same extension is also same and source port is also same..only the difference is message type.
Scenario1 message type :ORDERS
Scenario2 message type :ORDCHG
but in idx2 we can't specify message type ...
while importing metadata it will ask for
IDOC TYPE : ORDERS05
EXTENSION : abc
of:
Source Port : SAP Sender Port
this IDOC TYPE ,EXTENSION and source port are similar to scenario 1
even if i import i will get metadata already loaded...
even i do not have authorization to delete the metadata..
so how can i solve my problem...
Bhavesh plz help me ..
Regards,
Reehan
Reehan,
Am not sure , but what I would suggest is as follows,
1.delete all metatdata in IDX2.
2.Do not manually import the metadata in IDX2. It will get loaded Automatically in the runtime.
3. Trigger your interface now.
Trigger Interface 2 First and see if it works, if it does, then retrigger interface 1 and give it a shot.

Bhavesh
