hi experts

can any one explains me about characteristics of batch management with suitable pharma ex.i know how to create batch mgt .creating class creating batch determination record using VCH1.all i want to know is creating characteristics in batch mgt using one pharma ex.

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS THAT WE COME ACROSS IN PHARMA INDUSTRY. WITH ONE SUITABLE EXAMPLE PLS

and creating a sales order using that batch.

Typical example in ice cream Manufacturing industry:

Characteristic Values

Acidity 7-9 pH

Total solids 35-45%

Freezing point -18 degree to -14 degree

Batch c1:

Spec:

Acidity 7pH

Total solids 36%

Freezong point -18degree

Batch c2:

Spec:

Acidity 9pH

Total solids 38%

Freezong point -19degree

Batch B3:

Spec:

Acidity 8pH

Total solids 34%

Freezong point -17degree

i can explain you about batches used in our industry( consumer pdts).

i think it has to be same

For our Batch management,

1. we will define Price lots.

2. year of manufacture.

3. case configuration.

4. versions.

eg. 01A7003600

here

price lot : 01

yr of mfr : january, 2007

case config : 0036

version : 00

after this u define batch search strategy ........
