Material listing error

Hi ,

while I process Sales Order ,when I entered certain material as my line item..I encountered the below error.

Diagnosis

The material entered is not allowed for the transaction because the listing is missing.

Procedure

Check your entries. If they are correct, check whether the listing is complete.

but I properly maintained the Material master,Customer info record ..

Could you pls check and reply..

Hi Ram,

I think you maintained Listing for the Customer which you selected for creation of the Sales Order.

Once you made Listing for the customer, you have to maintaine all the materials which you want to use in the sales orders, otherwise it will say that the material is not listed.

Goto change mode of Listing/exclusion VB02 and see the materials which are listed for the Customer, and see if that material is maintained in that or not.

If it is not maintaine the same and try again.

i didnt maintain A001 for the material under that customer.Now my issue resolved with VB01..A001

Hi

There is a listing created for your customer & the listing doesn't contain the material you are entering so its not allowing you to create sales order.

go to change mode of material listing( i guess vb12) for your customer and add your material. This will help.

i think your materail is in exclution, maintain in listing and try..
