change setting in the configtool

Hi,

we did an Upgrade of our Enterprise Portal to NetWeaver 2004s. We want to do some tests regarding the startup time and therefore we want to change the UME configuration. Instead of the LDAP configuration file we want to use database_read_only configuration but it's not possible to change the configuration from LDAP to database only.

We tried already the following:

- upload of the configuration file dataSourceConfiguration_database_only.xml using the configtool

- change the setting of server - services - com.sap.security.core.ume.service - ume.persistence.data_source_configuration. That doesn't work. There is still the file for the LDAP configuration active.

The file dataSourceConfiguration_database_only.xml is available in the system but there is no possibility to choose it as a Data source configuration file in the configtool for UME ldap data.

Does anyone know these problem?

The problem could be solved by changing the global settings and not the settings of the instances.
