Property Editor for Role in portal

Could you tell me for the meaning of each property and how/when to use each property when we setting up the new role. Thank you in advance.

hi dino,

While creating a new role , main property you have to lookat is Entry point.After creating a role and assigning workset to it ,you have to select the radio button "yes" for the entry point property for role in the properties window.Only if you select "yes" option for the entry point ,the user to whom u assigned this role could see that when he logged into the portal.

In intial stage of role creation u have to give

1. role name 2.role id 3. id prefix 4. language 5. description .
