The Barcode functionality in MAM?

Can anybody know how to use the barcode functionality on the MC50 in MAM?

I hope You can give me some advices!

Hello,

I am pretty sure you don't have to do anything A bar code reader (yet it must be properly installed) is just another input device like a keyboard or a mouse. All "barcode enabled" field in MAM are text fields. So you have to put the focus on the field by clicking on it, then read the barcode and the string should appear in the field.

Hi,

there is an RFID deployment note 734102.

I know though that implementation has been changed in MAM3.0 SR3. I am not sure deployment is still the same - I ssupect it is as there is still a jar in the distribution add-ons.

You might want to to take a look at this note as a start.

In MAM configuration guide there are references on how to configure MAM backend to use this functionality.
